Mental Health MOTs

Just like you’d check in with your dentist or take your car for an MOT, a Mental Health MOT is a chance to check in on your emotional wellbeing.

It’s a free, confidential, one-to-one conversation with a trained member of our team, designed to help you pause, reflect, and take stock of how you’re doing.

We focus on early intervention, helping people identify challenges before they grow and connecting them to the right resources.

Whether you’re feeling fine and just want a check-in, or you’re starting to feel overwhelmed, a Mental Health MOT can give you:

  • Reassurance that what you’re doing is working
  • A safe space to talk openly about how you’re feeling
  • Help to spot early signs of stress, burnout or low mood
  • Friendly, non-clinical guidance on what might help
  • Signposting to local services, tools, or further support

During the session, we’ll gently explore key areas of your life – like sleep, stress, motivation, relationships, purpose, and more – and help you take small, meaningful steps forward.

It’s not a test. It’s not therapy. There’s no pressure and no diagnosis. It’s simply a space for you.

How it works

1. Personalised Wellness Check

A relaxed, one-to-one session lasting around one hour, with a trained member of our team, exploring your mental health and wellbeing.

2. Strengths-Based Conversation

We invite you to reflect on key areas of life that can affect your mental health – including sleep, physical health, connection, use of time, relationships and more. Together, we’ll look at where things are going well, and where you might want more support.

3. Tailored Action Plan

Based on what we discuss, we’ll create a simple, personalised action plan – focusing on your strengths and what matters to you.

4. Signposting and Support

If needed, we’ll help you connect with local services, community groups, or practical resources that can help you move forward.

Why it matters

  • Breaking the stigma – Encourages open, everyday conversations about mental health
  • Empowering individuals – Helps you take charge of your own wellbeing
  • Building resilience – Strengthens community connections and reduces isolation
