What is CBT?

Cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) looks at how our thoughts, emotions, physical sensations and behaviour are all connected. By changing the way we think we can help change our actions and our feelings. The programme contains a blend of CBT and other trusted and innovative approaches to support, unique to the programme. Over 12 weeks you will be supported with fortnightly phone calls from your support worker. This gives you a chance to ask any questions around the programme and to discuss your general wellbeing for around 30 minutes. You can download workbooks to help with your recovery and save them to your computer, where you can type directly into them. Once you have them on your computer, they are yours to keep.

Who is it for?

CBT is for you if you are over 18, live in Conwy and need support with your mental health and wellbeing. The programme offers short term interventions for people facing common mental health difficulties and challenging life events causing anxiety, stress or low mood. You will need access to a computer and be able to commit a couple of hours a week to working through the booklets.
