The I CAN Community Hub

The Hub is a space providing mental health and wellbeing support at the heart of the community.

Through The Hub we offer a range of support to suit a wide variety of needs and connect people with support across Conwy and wider.

You can phone to make an appointment or just drop in and there are staff and volunteers on hand to support you. We are open 10.00am – 5.00pm Monday, Thursday, Friday for all support, but between 3.00pm – 5.00pm we ask people to make an appointment for any one to one support.

What’s on offer?

When you come to The Hub you will be met by a Meet and Greet volunteer who will introduce you to The Hub and have a chat about what you’re looking for.

If you’re just looking for information they will talk you through what’s available in the local community, nationally and through Conwy Mind. They can support you to find info online and signpost you to relevant services, making the first contact if needed.

If you are interested in info around mental health issues for yourself or someone else we have a range of booklets that you can take away.

One to One Support and Groups

If you need further support you can request to speak to someone on a one to one basis or you can access one of our groups.

If you want to talk about how you’re feeling, have someone listen without judging or tell you what to do or need some practical steps to help you move forwards you can access one to one support.

Alternatively, if you want to meet new people, share experiences and learn what’s worked for them you can join one of our groups or courses following an appointment with the group facilitator.

Making Connections

The Hub is also a one stop shop for support with various agencies such as I CAN work, HAFAL, Social Services and Family Centres holding regular support sessions here.

On the first week of the month we run Wellbeing Wednesdays when different organisations deliver presentations, offer drop-ins or run taster sessions.

Please see our calendar for a schedule of events.
